REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER ITALY - NEW UPDATE

Dear All,

sooner than expected, but as promised, here our latest update with great news related to COVID formalities for summer 2022 as per decree n.122  of the 1st of June 2022.

THE HEALTH DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR YACHTS ENTERING SARDINIA:
- Arriving from Italy and Europe: no sanitary documentation required*
- Arriving from extra EU countries: Free Sanitary Practice within and not before 12 hours prior arrival


* Arriving from Italy and Europe, no sanitary documentation required unless Covid cases are recorded on board. In that case Free Sanitary Practice and Health Declaration will be required along with proof of vaccination, or green pass or healing certificate.  The end of the restriction also apply to crew members and guests flying from Europe to Italy.

Some restrictions remain active, like the use of masks (FFP2) required until the 15th of June in the following situations:
- Public transport (Aircraft/ Trains/Ships/Buses);
- Health facilities;
- Indoor events and shows open to the public

The good news in details:
- No Health Maritime Declaration or Free Sanitary Practice for all boats coming from italy and Europe unless with COVID cases onboard.
- No obligation to wear a mask outdoors and in public places indoors/outdoors*with some exceptions 
- No obligation to present a Green Pass for restaurants, hotel, shops or other commercial service
- No Passenger Locator form required

Other required Yacht Sanitation Documents (compulsory for commercial yacht and recommended for private yacht):
• MEDAIRE/MEDICAL CHEST CERTIFICATE
• List of medicines on board with specification of expiry date
• SHIP SANITATION CONTROL EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE. In case you want to have it as additional docs, we could make arrangements for it.
